Margarita Goes to the White House!

On Tuesday 06/18/24, Margarita sat on the panel at the White House during the 25th anniversary of The Olmstead v. L.C. decision was a landmark ruling by the United States Supreme Court on June 22, 1999. Margarita Maria Baquero was one of panelists to celebrate this huge achievement for the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and addressed the rights of individuals with disabilities to receive services in the most integrated setting appropriate to their needs.

El martes 18/06/24, Margarita participó en el panel de la Casa Blanca durante el 25 aniversario del caso Olmstead v. L.C. La decisión fue un fallo histórico de la Corte Suprema de los Estados Unidos el 22 de junio de 1999. Margarita María Baquero fue una de los panelistas para celebrar este gran logro de la Ley de Estadounidenses con Discapacidades (ADA) y abordó los derechos de las personas con discapacidades a recibir servicios en el entorno más integrado y adecuado a sus necesidades.
