Beinvenidos Todos Webinar Series
Bienvenidos Todos will host webinar presentations about disability resources and services especially for Latinos with disabilities, their families, caregivers, advocates, and those who serve Latinos. Monthly webinars will cover disability topics especially as they pertain to Latinos and their different residency statuses.
These webinars will be held the second Thursday of the month from 1:00 – 2:00 pm in English only and from 7:00-8:30 pm in Spanish only. Below are the links to register for the series. We will ask you for optional demographic information so we can report to the Virginia Board for People with Disabilities as our funding source. Once registered, we will send you email updates are reminders for each webinar.

Welcoming Latinos with Disabilities and their Families
This webinar series for service providers interested in providing culturally responsive services to Latinos with disabilities and their families. This webinar series will include information on how to reach Latinos with disabilities. How are Latinos and other communities different from mainstream families? How are they different from each other? Why is outreach to Latino communities so important? This workshop will share experiences from years of advocacy and Latino communities with disabilities
The series will also include information about local, state, and national organizations serving Latinos, the diversity of Latinos in Virginia, and self-advocate/family stories.
Monthly webinars are scheduled for the third Thursday of the month from 1:00-2:00 pm. The first webinar for this series will be held on November 21, 2024.
