Hopefully, you as a person with a disability or if you care for a loved with special needs are getting the benefits you're entitled to. Unfortunately, "hoping" is not enough. You should have assurance that all the programs and services you need, you've applied for. If you have not applied or would like help understanding the ins and outs of federal and state entitlement programs, we're hosting an informational workshop to cover the core programs plus a few more that a knowledgeable ECNV Benefits Enrollment Counselor can help you apply for.   Please join me on the NOVA Collaboration Platform to learn more.  

The programs we'll cover include qualifying for: 

  • Medicare Part D, Low Income Subsidy (LIS)

  • Medicare Savings Program (MSP)

  • Medicaid

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

We'll provide overviews of the Energy Share heating/cooling assistance program and information on qualifying for SSI and SSDI.

Join our information session on March 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. to learn more and ask questions about the programs and qualifications related to your needs. Tracee Garner and Lelena Dange from the ENDependence Center of Northern Virginia, both Benefits Enrollment Counselors, will lead this workshop and assist with inquiries.  Please use this Zoom link to join in.
