We want to shine a light on the amazing individuals who make ECNV a special place to work. Today, let's get to know Carlos Marquez.
How long have you worked at ECNV? I will have worked for two years on April 11. It has been a great journey.
If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why? I would like to have the superpower of flying, so I can beat traffic and enjoy the view from the clouds.
Tell me something you are passionate about. I am passionate about hanging out with my family. I have 23 cousins and 1 sister. Our get-togethers are never small.
What’s your favorite food? I love the combination of fried rice. It has everything I enjoy and need. I always top it off with soy sauce and sometimes Duck Sauce.
What is your favorite movie? Interstellar by Christopher Nolan. It has a very cool way of connecting time and space. Also, it has a very nice message about the world.
If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and what would you talk about? I would like to have dinner with Cesar Chavez. Because I would like to know how he was able to unite so many people for his cause against unfair treatment of works. I think he could help me understand and teach me what a leader can be and what he does.
What is the most adventurous thing you have done? Learning how to drive a motorcycle. I always wanted to learn since it’s a unique experience and skill, not everyone has.

¿Cuánto tiempo lleva trabajando en ECNV? El 11 de abril habré cumplido dos años de trabajo. Ha sido un gran viaje.
Si pudieras tener un superpoder, ¿cuál sería y por qué? Me gustaría tener el superpoder de volar, para poder evitar el tráfico y disfrutar de la vista desde las nubes.
Cuéntame algo que te apasione. Me apasiona salir con mi familia. Tengo 23 primos y 1 hermana. Nuestras reuniones nunca son pequeñas.
¿Cuál es tu comida favorita? Me encanta la combinación de arroz frito. Tiene todo lo que disfruto y necesito. Siempre lo cubro con salsa de soja y, a veces, salsa de pato.
¿Cuál es tu película favorita? Interestelar de Christopher Nolan. Tiene una forma genial de conectar el tiempo y el espacio. Además, tiene un mensaje muy bonito sobre el mundo.
Si pudieras cenar con algún personaje histórico, ¿quién sería y de qué hablarías? Me gustaría cenar con César Chávez. Porque me gustaría saber cómo pudo unir a tanta gente por su causa contra el trato injusto a las obras. Creo que podría ayudarme a comprender y enseñarme qué puede ser un líder y qué hace.
¿Qué es lo más aventurero que has hecho? Aprender a conducir una motocicleta. Siempre quise aprender ya que es una experiencia y una habilidad única que no todos tienen.
