Mason Apartments Multicultural Event

On May 10, 2022, ECNV’s Trusted Disability Champions and staff attended another vaccination event at Mason Apartments at South Van Dorn St. in Alexandria, VA, where more than 300 residents of Alexandria’s diverse from Ethiopian, Muslim, African American and Latino communities received vaccinations.
ECNV’s host for this event was Latina mother, Jackeline Reyes, who helped encourage members of her community to get vaccinated. During the event, Trusted Disability Champions Margarita Baquero, Janeek Prince, and Jackeline Reyes helped staff distribute ECNV information and goodie bags.

El 10 de mayo de 2022, los Campeones de Discapacidad de Confianza de ECNV y el personal asistieron a otro evento de vacunación en Mason Apartments en South Van Dorn St. en Alexandria, VA, donde más de 300 residentes de Alexandria, diversas comunidades etíopes, musulmanas, afroamericanas y latinas, recibieron vacunas.
La anfitriona de ECNV para este evento fue una madre latina, Jackeline Reyes, quien ayudó a animar a los miembros de su comunidad a vacunarse. Durante el evento, las campeonas de confianza en discapacidad Margarita Baquero, Janeek Prince y Jackeline Reyes ayudaron al personal a distribuir información sobre ECNV y bolsas de obsequios.
