Honduras Mobile Consulate
On Monday, May 24, 2024, ECNV partnered with Honduras at the Mobile Consulate, hosted by Fairfax County and Walgreens for a COVID-19 vaccination clinic. This clinic was mainly for new immigrants from Honduras. Guests received resources on food, health and education. ECNV distributed around 300 free home COVID-19 tests.

Arlington Chamber’s 38th Annual Best Business Awards
On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, Rosalía Fajardo, Director of Disability Equity Strategic Partnerships at ECNV, attended the Arlington Chamber's annual Best Business Awards event. ECNV was a sponsor and was nominated.

Culmore Community Day
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, ECNV celebrated Culmore Community Day, hosted by Fairfax County. This event was created over seventeen years ago as a multicultural celebration by the global community of Bailey's Crossroads and Culmore. Despite the rain this year, this event was a success in bringing the community together to celebrate the diversity that makes us strong and connected.

Newcomer Health Fair
On Saturday, May 4, 2024, ECNV partnered with a vaccine clinic and distributed free at-home COVID-19 testing kits at the Newcomer Health Fair. Refugees from Afghanistan and other countries received free services from more than 25 health organizations. This event was an opportunity for individuals and families to interact with medical professionals. Everyone is encouraged to join this free event and take advantage of the wide range of health resources available. We were very excited to serve the most vulnerable and needy communities!

United Methodist Church Annandale Vaccine Clinic
On Thursday, April 11, 2024, ECNV hosted a clinic at an United Methodist Church Annandale event. There was also food distribution.

Singh Sabha Gurdwara Temple Vaccine Clinic
On Sunday, April 21, 2024, ECNV was invited to participate at the Singh Sabha Gurdwara Temple health fair. We were among others agencies all did amazing work and made this event successful.

ECNV Partners with Neighborhood Health
On Tuesday, April 9, (and throughout the month) 2024, ECNV partnered with Neighborhood Health to co-host several community events mainly focusing on food security and health resources. ECNV distributed COVID home test in these events. This was at their Alexandria Alive! event.

Shirlington Employment and Education Center Graduation Ceremony
On Tuesday, April 2, 2024, ECNV was invited by partner agency Shirlington Employment and Education Center in their graduation ceremony for a group of Latinas (os) entrepreneurs who successfully finished the Latinx in Business program.

Salvadorian Mobile Consulate Vaccine Clinic
On Saturday, March 23, 2024 ECNV hosted a COVID-19 vaccine clinic with Salvadorian Mobile Consulate and organizations from Fairfax County governments. ECNV staff distributed COVID-19 home tests as well as provided vaccine shots.

Celebrating International Women's Day
On Thursday, March 7, 2024, Rosalia Fajardo Director and Disability Justice Partnerships participated in several International Women's Day celebrations events, with more than 125 Latina women attending. At Cornerstones Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center we shared our story, accomplishments, and challenges. ECNV provided COVID-19 home tests and bags. It was an inspirational morning to help forge a better, more inclusive world for women.

Alexandria City Government Resource Fair
On Thursday, March 7, 2024, Alexandria City Government hosted another resource fair event. ECNV staff attended this fair promoting our programs and distributing COVID-19 home tests.

Partnership with Second Story
During the month of March, ECNV partnered with Second Story and hosted several community events mainly focusing on food security and health resources. ECNV distributed COVID-19 home tests at these events.

Himalayan Free Clinic
On Friday, March 1, 2024, ECNV co-hosted another Himalayan Free clinic. We provided vaccines to seniors with disabilities and the general population and distributed COVID-19 tests for more than seventy attendees.

Community Connection Night
On Wednesday, February 21, ECNV participated in Community Connection Night organized by Fairfax County Public Schools at Providence Elementary School, where more than 150 families attended. This event was full of resources for students and families that included information on after‑school programs, mental health and behavior support, and assistance with basic needs such as health insurance and food security.

ECNV and Ed Futuro-Neighborhood Health Vaccine Clinic
On Saturday, February 17, 2024, ECNV delivered COVID-19 home test kits to Ed Futuro and Fairfax County partners for a Neighborhood Health COVID-19 vaccine clinic.

Distributing COVID-19 Home Tests to Educators
ECNV wants to congratulate the Fairfax County Federation of Teachers and the Fairfax Education Association -- the FEU -- for their amazing 40,000-book giveaway at the Lorton Community Center on Saturday, February 10, 2024. We were invited to attend this amazing event to distribute COVID-19 home tests to the multicultural and diverse community of families who attended.

United for Wellness, Mental Health and Wellness Conference and Resource Fair
On Saturday, January 27, 2024, ECNV staff attended the United for Wellness, Mental Health and Wellness Conference and Resource Fair at Riverside High School. This event was hosted by Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) and was attended by more than 45 governmental agencies, and nonprofits. United for Wellness highlights LCPS was focused on all areas of student health and well being. Conference presenters included mental health professionals, fitness, and wellness coaches, and LCPS educators.
