Zoè Davis 2022 Recipient of Tony Young Memorial Scholarship

Originally Published in June 2022, ECNV Newsletter

The Arlington Community Foundation announced Zoè Davis as recipient of Tony Young Memorial Scholaship. ECNV fans and newsletter readers may remember Tony Young was one of ECNV’s founders and our first Executive Director. As an advocate who created change and mentored future disability leaders, he would have been delighted that Zoè will continue his legacy.

Zoè has worked at the same summer camp for children with sickle cell anemia that she attended as a child and has grown to become a strong and confident self-advocate. “I am a proud, out disabled lesbian who has so much to contribute to society, and I am deserving of every good thing that comes my way – just as I am.”
