Is Travel Training for Me?

The short answer is “Yes”. ECNV’s Travel Training program is back and we are out and about in person. Anyone with a disability, interested in learning to be more independent and using the accessible bus and metrorail systems can sign up. Whether you have been riding for years and want to learn something new or if you’ve never used a bus before, travel training is for you!

Travel Training is free if you have Metro Access, Disability Reduced Fare, or a senior smartrip card (for over aged 65). If you aren’t enrolled in any of these programs, we will work with you to gain a disability reduced fare card, which is a half price metrocard.

Are you interested in trying out travel training? Contact Andrew Shaw, (andrews@ecnv.org) or Hunter Cardwell (hunterc@ecnv.org). We hope to see you out there!
