Multicultural Celebration & Health Fair

On September 17, 2022, the ECNV outreach team participated in the Multicultural Celebration and Health Fair hosted by St Mark’s Lutheran Church, organized by Fairfax County Health Department, St Mark’s Lutheran Church, Second Story, Asian American Community, and ICNA. A great turnout of the West Springfield residents received COVID vaccinations (30 people), Lions Club vision screenings, MCCP Foundation dental screenings, and GMU MAP Clinic physicals. The NCS Carevan provided space for the physicals. Second Story and ICNA Relief together distributed over 250 backpacks, and ICNA Relief also donated 80+ food boxes. The event showcased a beautiful multicultural dance presentation, Delicious food by the Asian American Community Center, Second Story, and St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

El 17 de septiembre de 2022, el equipo de extensión de ECNV participó en la celebración multicultural y feria de salud organizada por la Iglesia Luterana de San Marcos, organizada por el Departamento de Salud del Condado de Fairfax, la Iglesia Luterana de San Marcos, Second Story, Asian American Community e ICNA. Una gran participación de los residentes de West Springfield recibió vacunas contra el COVID (30 personas), exámenes de la vista del Club de Leones, exámenes dentales de la Fundación MCCP y exámenes físicos de la Clínica GMU MAP. El NCS Carevan proporcionó espacio para los exámenes físicos. Second Story e ICNA Relief juntos distribuyeron más de 250 mochilas, y ICNA Relief también donó más de 80 cajas de comida.
