RAMP Update: March 2025

RAMP Mentee and Mentors are making connections. January 2025, we celebrated Mentor Appreciate Month. Mentees and Mentors gathered at David and Busters to celebrate and socialize. Students are currently spending time talking about their community and their perspective careers during the month of February, as well as learn about different leaders in honor of Black History Month. We are looking forward to more in-person experiences and outings to allow students to explore their options.  We have upcoming events in March such as Sweet Jake’s Ice cream shop, Bitty and Beaus Coffee Shop, and a Virtual Career Fair hosted by our partner Virginia Williams High School Associate.

Los aprendices y mentores de RAMP están haciendo conexiones. En enero de 2025, celebramos el Mes de Agradecimiento a los Mentores. Los aprendices y mentores se reunieron en David y Busters para celebrar y socializar. Los estudiantes actualmente están dedicando tiempo a hablar sobre su comunidad y sus carreras prospectivas durante el mes de febrero, así como a aprender sobre diferentes líderes en honor al Mes de la Historia Negra. Esperamos con ansias más experiencias y salidas en persona para permitir que los estudiantes exploren sus opciones.  Tenemos próximos eventos en marzo, como la heladería Sweet Jake's,  la cafetería Bitty and Beaus y una feria de carreras virtual organizada por nuestro socio Virginia Williams High School Associate.
