Centreville Library Flu Shot Clinic

On Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Centreville Library, ECNV successfully distributed forty flu vaccine shots to those who came to the event. Many of those who benefited from the vaccines were male day laborers, most of them from the Mayan community that speaks the Ixil language. This event enriches our community and brings them essential resources we have for them, cultivating the importance of taking care of health habits like getting vaccinated from the flu.

El domingo 16 de febrero de 2025, en la Biblioteca de Centreville, ECNV distribuyó con éxito cuarenta inyecciones de la vacuna contra la gripe a quienes asistieron al evento. Muchos de los que se beneficiaron de las vacunas eran jornaleros, la mayoría de ellos de la comunidad maya que habla el idioma ixil. Este evento enriquece a nuestra comunidad y les brinda los recursos esenciales que tenemos para ellos, cultivando la importancia de cuidar los hábitos de salud como vacunarse contra la gripe.
