ECNV Receives Grant for Vaccination Outreach to Aging and Disability Communities

Originally Published May 2023, ECNV Newsletter

ECNV has funding from USAging’s Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative to continue our work to provide vaccinations for older adults and people with disabilities. This funding will allow us to distribute COVID-19 test kits at community outreach events and with our partners. We will also host COVID-19/flu vaccine clinics in partnership with Neighborhood Health and Giant Pharmacy. We are also delighted to be working with Loudoun Volunteer Caregivers who will help bolster our work in Loudoun County.

According to Program Manager, Rosalia Fajardo, this new grant will help us continue to reach out to our disability and aging communities who are most marginalized. Together with other Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative grantees, we will deliver vaccines and supportive services to more than 2 million older adults and people with disabilities. USAging’s Aging and Disability Vaccination Collaborative is funded by the U.S. Administration for Community Living. For more information, contact Rosalia Fajardo – rfajardo@ecnv.org.
